Events

Annual conference: Every year we organize our annual conference and Environmental Saving Award ceremony for about 150 participants. The Saving Awards are handed to companies participating in the Money Back Through the Window programme every year. Afterwards other talks of high standard are presented in the topic of corporate environmental protection, social responsibility, and sustainability.

Trainings: We hold trainings and experiance exchanges for companies or environmental managers regarding green office, environmentally aware management, internal audit, environmental communication, environmental performance evaluation, products and LCA and environmental savings.

Company site visits: We organize about 4-5 company site visits every year for business people and students, so they can share knowledge, and see other companies operation. Each visit is organized around different topics, e.g. communication, packaging, LCA etc.

Consulting

We work together with companies to improve their environmental performance. To do this we have several tools, including ecomapping for SMEs, ISO 14001/EMAS Easy implementation for SMEs, green office programme, developing environmental performance evaluation system, product life cycle assesment, trainings for workers, verification of environmental and sustainability reports, benchmark, CSR communication, CO2-emission measurement.

Implementation of projects

The commited experts of KÖVET implemented over 100 successful Hungarian and international projects. Some of them are detailed here.

Publications

KÖVET has more than 20 handbooks published, mainly in Hungarian, and some of them in English together with INEM. The handbooks are about different environmental issues for environmental experts, e.g. Ecomapping, Environmental Performance Evaluation, Environmentally Friendly Products, Green Office etc.
