We also introduce so called 'Alternative Entrepreneurs', whom we think are the closest to economic actors working in harmony with the ideal of sustainable developement. The main goal of this book is to stimulate thinking and generate debate on a deeper understanding of corporate responsibility. EMAS 2001 - Put Simple Language: Hungarian, English Pages: 18 Year of publication: 2001 Description: This guidebook is an overview of environmental management systems and the EMAS 761/2001 regulation of the European Parliament and Council in Hungary. The original version was published in the countries of Southern Europe by INEM, and it was partly rewritten to the Hungarian circumstances. Ecomapping Language: Hungarian Pages: 16 Year of publication: 2000 and 2006 Description: Ecomapping is a creative tool that helps small companies to implement environmental management, ISO 14001 and EMAS. This visual and practical tool helps SME managers and employees to analyse and manage the environmental performance of small companies and craft industries. The purpose of Ecomapping is to provide small companies and organisations with a free, visual, simple and practical tool to analyse and manage their environmental behaviour. The aim of the project was to show, that integrating cleaner production and EMS is more successful than dealing with them seperately. The publication introduces the project itself, and the case studies of the companies involved in the project. GEMS-HU Language: Hungarian, English Pages: 36 Year of publication: 1999 Description: Report on the findings of GEMS-HU (Global Environmental Management Survey in Hungary). The project was a part of a sereies of surveys managed by INEM, under the title GEMS. GEMS had been conducted in Argentina and Brasil, it was implemented in 1998-2000 in the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland. Case studiesMoney Back Through the Window Language: Hungarian Pages: 230 together Year of publication: annual since 2002 Description: Commonsense measures in enterprises often bring environmental and financial benefits at the same time. Industry can save more money through easy measures, than environmental innovation costs. This is the main message of a continuous empirical survey in Hungary. The measures are published every year in a case study collection, entitled Money back through the window.
