KÖVET has around 87 members as of 2008. Two third of them are small and medium sized companies. KÖVET cooperates with 21 additional associated members (environmental NGOs, university departments, professional organizations etc.) and six honorary individual members. How can you join?KÖVET cooperates with organizations of all types, but especially with its member companies. The rights and duties of the ordinary members are laid down in the Deed of Association. The Presidium makes decisions about the requests for membership. The basic conditions of membership are the acceptance of the Deed of Association, declaring the intent of joining the organization in our application form and paying the annual membership fee. Financial support gained from tenders and applications is five times the amount collected from membership fees. Please ask for the detailed description of the benefits of being a KÖVET member! It is possible for non-governmental or non-profit oriented organizations to become an associated member. This connection is based on mutual benefits, defined by a Memorandum of Agreement. The ratio of associated members is not allowed to exceed 40 per cent, in order to keep the Association business oriented. The Secretariat may make suggestions to elect honorary members (private persons) on the basis of voluntary contribution to KÖVET's activities, if nominees are not employed by members. The Presidium accepts and expels members.
